Dang, less than a month.
Cardio is back with a vengeance and seems to be there whether it's a short or long WOD. Last night was a party with burpees and runs. Felt fast and solid. Same with power Cindy last week. The box jump/PLU one on Monday was good times, too. McGhee, which was longer, felt good the entire time and it ended up being my strength on the heavy deadlifts that got me after 83 of them. That's 16 rounds. I'm okay with that. In terms of my lifts, those are also feeling good. Squats on Monday were lovely at 205lbs and I even saw a 10lb PR on my clean. Shoulder press yesterday felt fine. This kind of surprises me. I think I'm fully adapted to my 50g of carbs. And I'm feeling freaking good. Actually, better than good.
Tonight will be a challenge. Never done 125lb power cleans in a WOD and there's 30 of them tonight. Khalipa in his video didn't even bother to power clean and just did muscle cleans. Beast, he is. It would be kinda weird going through life that dang strong.

I strugled a bit with those cleans. 185# is right at the edge of what I can do for sustained reps. It's still too heavy for me to hang on to the bar between reps so it slows me down a ton.
I found the burpees to be pretty much useless except to give my traps a little rest.
I probably would have gotten more out of the workout if I had scaled the weight down to some thing I could hang on to. Maybe 155#-170#
Definitley on fire these days Leya! Keep it up. I'm on day 2 strict paleo now after a few short weeks off the wagon. Gearing up for Regionals and feeling pretty good. I'm opting for 50ish g of carbs too. Maybe 1 serving of fruit/day after I'm back from Wpg this week.
